Lecturer in the Department of Black Studies. Mr. Madison received his bachelor's degree in Political Science from St. Mary's University, San Antonio, Texas. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His areas of interest are United States legal history, U.S. race relations, race relations and the law, Black American political history and political violence. Mr. Madison received a Professor of the Year award by UCSB's Mortar Board in 1992.
