Declaring the Minor
To declare Black Studies as your minor:

2. Submit to “Inbox” on the front counter in the Department of Black Studies main office (located at 3631 South Hall).
Please Note: The minor is considered “unofficial” until all courses have been completed *and* the Department has submitted a Minor Clearance form to the Registrar’s office. For this reason, you will never see an indication of your minor on GOLD, or on any progress report provided to you by the College of Letters and Science and/or the Registrar’s Office. It is the student’s responsibility to notify the Department of their intent to graduate by the first day of the quarter in which they plan to graduate so the minor clearance form can be prepared.
